The UPSC Preparation Journey
Saumya began her UPSC preparation with coaching, reaching the mains in her first attempt. However, realizing the importance of self-study, she decided to prepare on her own after her initial failure. This self-preparation method proved to be more suited to her style of learning.
Persistence Through Failures
Her second attempt also ended in failure, but Saumya did not lose heart. In her third attempt, she cleared the exam and was selected for the IPS. Even after joining the police service, she continued her preparation, and her relentless efforts bore fruit when she secured the All India Rank 30 in her fourth attempt.
