Current Role and Early Life:
Serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Police of Bulandshahr, Anukriti’s journey began in the historic city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. This is where she spent her formative years, receiving her primary education. Her academic journey led her to Indo Bharat International School, Jaipur for her higher secondary education.
Higher Education and American Sojourn:
Pursuing her thirst for knowledge, Anukriti graduated with a BSMS degree from the esteemed Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata. Her academic brilliance shone through when she qualified the UGC NET, earning her a coveted spot at a University in America for further studies.
A Unique UPSC Preparation:
While many aspirants would get engrossed in the academic rigours of an American university, Anukriti’s heart and mind were set on the UPSC. Remarkably, even in a foreign land, she dedicated herself to the UPSC preparation. Eschewing traditional coaching and test series, she relied solely on self-study and the vast resources of the internet.
The Road to Success:
Anukriti’s journey to becoming an IPS officer was not without its challenges. Over five years, she gave four attempts. While she reached the interview round in her initial three attempts, success remained elusive. In 2017, although she cleared the UPSC, the post of IPS was beyond her grasp. Undeterred, she persevered and finally realized her dream in 2019.
