Honda SP160: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is gearing up to launch another new 160cc motorcycle during this festive season. Based on the popular Honda Unicorn platform, the company will introduce the bigger sibling of the SP125 and it will be named the SP160. After the Unicorn and the X-Blade, the all-new Honda SP160 will be HMSI’s third 160cc motorcycle in India.

The upcoming Honda SP160 will inherit design elements from the SP125. It is expected to feature an all-LED headlamp, a muscular fuel tank, and a digital instrument cluster. The braking will be controlled by a front disc brake with single-channel ABS and a rear drum unit. It will also come with telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock absorber.

Powering the new Honda SP160 will be the same 162.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that also does its job on the Unicorn. This motor generates a peak torque of 14 Nm at 5,500 RPM and 12.7 bhp at 7,500 RPM, which is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
