The Maruti Baleno is giving tough competition to the Creta with its powerful engine and impressive features. Both manual and automatic transmission options are available for these engines, providing a mileage of up to 22.94 kmpl in the petrol version and 30.61km/kg in the CNG variant.

The car also offers an array of features, including a 9-inch Smart Play Pro Plus touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, HUD feature, wireless phone charging, Alexa voice command, head-up display, and improved music with ARKAMYS’ surround system. In terms of safety, the Baleno offers 6 airbags, ESP, hill-start assist, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat, reversing camera, and rear parking sensors.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is available in four variants – Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha, with an ex-showroom price ranging from 6.61 to 9.88 lakh rupees. Despite the safety updates, the company has kept the price unchanged. The Baleno competes with the Hyundai Creta, Toyota Glanza, Tata Altroz, and Citroen C3 in India.
