Kia Seltos: Kia recently launched the facelift version of its mid-size SUV, the Seltos, with prices ranging from ₹10.90 lakh to ₹20 lakh. However, the company has now increased the prices of some variants by up to ₹30,000. This change is due to the introduction of two new variants, which has affected the pricing. The entry-level HTX manual variant is still available at the same price of ₹10.90 lakh, while the fully loaded X-Line Automatic trim is now priced at ₹20.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Kia Seltos comes with two significant features – a panoramic sunroof and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) technology. The ADAS suite includes 17 features, such as autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, forward collision warning assist, and much more. The SUV comes standard with electronic stability control, 6 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring system, and three-point seat belt reminders for all passengers. It also features a 360-degree camera, rain-sensing wipers, and auto hold with electric parking brake.

According to reports, the new Seltos will undergo cosmetic changes by Kia. There will be several changes in the SUV’s front and rear looks. Additionally, new and improved headlights and tail lights could be added. The interior of the SUV may also see changes like a new infotainment system and ambient lighting.

The new Kia Seltos also introduces a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine that generates 160bhp power and 253Nm torque. It can be paired with a 6-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. In addition to this, the SUV retains the previously available engine options, including a 1.5L petrol engine (115bhp) and a 1.5L turbo diesel engine (116bhp). The petrol unit comes with a 6-speed manual and CVT gear.

As per reports, the facelift Seltos may come with a new 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine from the company, offering the SUV 160PS and 253 Newton meters of torque. There may also be an option for a naturally aspirated engine.

The Kia Seltos competes directly in the Indian market with mid-size SUVs such as the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, and MG Hector.
