However, the unfortunate demise of his parents in 2000 made him reassess his priorities. Choosing family legacy over law, he returned to his roots, delving deep into the world of agriculture.
The Potato Magnate:
While Harpal Singh was making legal arguments in court, Bhanwar’s heart was in the fields, yearning to contribute to the agricultural legacy of his forefathers. Drawn towards the high market demand for potatoes, Bhanwarpal made a calculated pivot and embarked on a journey that saw him not only cultivate potatoes on his own 22 acres of land but also take an additional 11 acres on contract. Today, the fruits of his labor yield an impressive 400 to 500 quintals of potatoes per acre, translating to a staggering profit.
Recognition and Accolades:
Bhanwar’s unconventional farming techniques and relentless drive didn’t go unnoticed. He was honored by none other than PM Narendra Modi at the Global Agriculture Summit in 2013. Further adding to his laurels, in 2020, he was recognized for his exceptional potato production at the Goblet Potato Conclave in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, receiving an award from Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.

Beyond just potato cultivation, Bhanwar has made a name for himself in the niche domain of potato seed production. Renowned across Uttar Pradesh, his expertise extends beyond domestic boundaries, exporting high-quality potato seeds to various states and even international markets.
