Educational Odyssey:
Born and brought up near Atalband Gate in Kankarwali Kuiya, Deepesh embarked on her academic journey in Bharatpur, completing her schooling here. Her thirst for knowledge took her to Jodhpur, where she pursued a B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Not stopping there, she further amplified her credentials with an M.Tech degree from the esteemed IIT Mumbai.
Trade-offs and Dedication:
Post-IIT, the corporate world beckoned, and Deepesh joined a private company. However, her true calling was the civil services. Making a brave choice, she resigned after a year, diving headfirst into UPSC preparations.
Overcoming the Initial Hurdle:
Like many aspirants, Deepesh faced a setback in her first UPSC attempt. But with grit and dedication, she bounced back, clinching the 93rd All-India rank in her second attempt and also securing a commendable fourth rank in the EWS category.
A Family of Achievers:
Deepesh’s success story isn’t hers alone. It’s a testament to her parents’ belief and support. Her father, Govind, and mother, Usha, have always dreamt of their children bringing laurels to the family. With Deepesh setting the pace, her siblings are not far behind. Her sister, Mamtesh, has completed her MBBS, and two of her brothers are pursuing medical degrees from Latur and AIIMS Guwahati. Nand Kishore, the third brother, stands by his father in the family business.

Govind, while basking in the joy of his daughter’s achievements, emphasized the importance of hard work, which he instilled in all his children. “It was my dream to see them flourish through education, and Deepesh has made us immensely proud,” he remarked.
