Maruti Swift, a popular car in the auto sector, is coming in a new avatar for customers, which will reduce the demand for Creta and provide a luxurious look with a powerful engine. The car will showcase several significant changes, and customers will be eager to buy it as soon as it hits the market with its new look. The company may unveil this car during the festive season or towards the end of this year.

Maruti Swift is one of the most popular cars in Maruti Suzuki’s portfolio. Launched in 2005, it has sold 25 lakh units as of 2021, highlighting its popularity. It has also been the segment leader for several years. In January, Maruti Suzuki announced that it will showcase 16 models at Auto Expo 2023. The Swift Sport could be included with ADAS technology.

Recently, a sports variant of the hatchback was spotted in India. The car undergoing testing, equipped with a radar module sensor, indicates that the Swift Sport could feature ADAS technology. Lane assist, lane departure warning, radar cruise control, and automatic emergency braking could also be included.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift Sport features a 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. With a capacity of 128 horsepower, this engine can generate peak torque of 235 Nm. One of its special features is the ability to reach 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.1 seconds. According to reports, the Swift Sport could have a top speed of around 210 km/h.

Compared to the standard Swift hatchback, the Swift Sport offers more features, such as sporty bumpers, 17-inch alloy wheels, side skirts, and twin exhaust system on both ends of the bumper. Inside the Swift Sport, there is a modified instrument panel, sports seats, red accents on the dashboard, and stylish stitching. The steering wheel can also be changed. Not all of these features are available in the regular Swift.
