The current generation Hyundai Creta is experiencing good sales in the Indian market, and it is soon going to receive a major update. In the beginning of next year, the bestselling SUV from Hyundai will be available for sale in its new avatar. The company is currently testing the facelifted version of the Creta in international markets along with India. Recently, spy pictures of the new Creta from South Korea have also surfaced.

The testing model was fully covered, but some styling details were visible, which have been seen before. The silhouette and dimensions of the new Creta remain similar to the current model, but the biggest update is the new alloy wheels. The fender also has a sticker with the codename SU2i written on it, where SU2 stands for SUV and “i” represents India. It is worth mentioning that the Indian-spec Creta facelift is based on the Palisade SUV, compared to the Tucson-like design of the Creta sold in other markets.
