Maruti Suzuki India has launched the new updated model of its popular MPV, Maruti EECO, in the domestic market today. The budget-friendly car is gaining popularity in the market with its impressive mileage of 27kmpl and a wide range of color options. The new Maruti EECO model comes with a powerful engine, featuring a 1.2-liter K-Series Dual-Jet VVT petrol engine that generates 80.76 PS of power and 104.4 Nm of torque. According to the company, the petrol variant of the car will provide 25% more mileage compared to the previous model, giving a mileage of 19.71 kilometers per liter.

The CNG variant, on the other hand, offers a mileage of 26.78 kilometers per kilogram. The new Maruti EECO also comes with a host of features including reclining front seats, cabin air filter, dome lamp, and new battery-saving function. Additionally, the car is equipped with 11 safety features such as illuminated hazard lights, dual airbags, engine immobilizer, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), child lock, sliding doors, and reverse parking sensors.
