In the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, FC Samartex emerged as the table leaders after the first round. The Timber giants secured 32 points, two points ahead of second-placed Aduana FC. Asante Kotoko SC and Nations FC rounded out the top four positions at the end of the first half of the season. In line with the GFA’s initiative to reward the top ten teams at the end of the season, Nsoatreman FC, Berekum Chelsea FC, Bechem United FC, Medeama SC, Legon Cities, and Dreams FC secured positions within the top ten teams. On the other hand, Karela FC, Real Tamale United FC, and Heart of Lions FC found themselves at the bottom of the league table at the end of the first round. The ‘form table’ displayed a visual representation of the team standings at the conclusion of the first round of matches in the league. It is expected that these standings will continue to fluctuate as the league season progresses.
