Tragedy struck a home in St. Charles County, Missouri, when an explosion led to a fire that ultimately took the lives of two children. Emergency crews responded to the scene in Defiance, Missouri, but were unable to immediately enter the home due to the intensity of the flames. The fire was so heavy that firefighters were unable to save the two trapped children. The children’s bodies were later recovered after the fire was extinguished.
