Tata Punch EV: Ratan Tata’s Gift of Mobility and Innovation
Ratan Tata’s philanthropic gesture through the Tata Punch EV a step towards inclusive mobility innovation and sustainability. In an extraordinary move towards social responsibility industrialist Ratan Tata is set to bring a wave of change to the automotive landscape by gifting a micro SUV Tata Punch EV.
This micro SUV Tata Punch EV is part of Tata Motors’ expanding lineup. It already includes the Tata Tigor EV and Tata Tiago EV. The anticipated launch of the Tata Punch EV is expected in January or February of 2024. It is following multiple sightings during testing.
One distinctive feature of the Tata Punch EV is its intention to retain the design elements of the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) model. The car’s taillights, mirroring the existing model and add a touch of familiarity.
Tata Punch EV comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen system, complemented by a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. An air purifier is integrated into the vehicle.
The Tata Punch EV provides a variety of color options. The available choices include Pristine White, Fearless Red Dual Tone, Daytona Grey Dual Tone, Seaweed Dual Tone, Pristine White Dual Tone, and Empowered Oxide Dual Tone.
This SUV has features like six airbags, a 360-degree camera equipped with a blind spot monitor, electronic stability control (ESC), and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold functionality.
It is scheduled for launch on January 29, 2024. Tata Punch EV will hit the market with five variants: Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+. With an expected starting price of Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
