The Government of Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a forward-thinking step by deploying 15 Tata Tigor EV cars.
What sets the Tata Tigor EV apart is its accessibility through a mobile application offering tourists an easy way to book their rides. This feature is especially beneficial for those wishing to visit prominent religious and cultural sites such as Ram Janmabhoomi, Suraj Kund, Saryu River, and Bharat Kund.
With fares starting at Rs 250 for a 10 km journey, Rs 400 for 20 km, and an all-day rental option at Rs 3000 for 12 hours and the service is accessible to a wide range of users.
The Tata Tigor EV is priced between Rs. 14.49 – 15.93 Lakh, with an EMI option of Rs. 23,883 for 5 years. The car boasts a driving range of 315 km, a charging time of 9.4 hours, a seating capacity for 5, and a 26 kWh battery capacity.
The trial run of the Tigor EV at Ayodhya Cantt station has already commenced offering a glimpse into the future of eco-friendly transportation in the city.
