ICC T20 Rankings: The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently updated its T20 batsmen rankings, revealing significant changes that highlight the dynamic performances of several players, particularly from the Indian cricket team. In a remarkable leap, Team India’s opening batsman, Ruturaj Gaikwad, surged to the top 10, jumping from the 79th to the 7th position.
Gaikwad’s ascent in the rankings is a testament to his exceptional performance in the series against Australia, where he amassed a total of 673 points. This jump places him among the elite of T20 batsmen worldwide, reflecting his growing influence in the shortest format of the game.

The ICC rankings now feature two Indian batsmen in the top 10 of the T20 format. Following Suryakumar Yadav is Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who occupies the second spot with 787 points, and South Africa’s Aiden Markram at third with 756 points.

Following Gaikwad in the rankings is England captain Jos Buttler at the 8th position with 666 points. South African batsman Reeza Henriques and New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips round up the top 10, standing at 9th with 657 points and 10th with 649 points, respectively.
