The Tata Harrier Facelift 2023 has been launched, along with the Tata Safari SUV’s new facelifted versions. The new versions come with updated front fascia, modified DRLs, and tail lamps. Tata has also made changes to the feature list for both cars. This is the first major facelift for both SUVs after their launches. The company has launched the Tata Harrier with a starting price of 15.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). The new Tata Safari starts at 16.19 lakhs (ex-showroom). The automatic version of the Harrier starts at 19.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), and the minimum price for the automatic variant of the Safari is 20.69 lakhs. Both the Harrier and Safari have started their bookings with a token amount of 25,000 rupees last week.

The Tata Harrier Facelift has a new grille and split headlight design which are the biggest changes in the facelift. The car features a full-width LED light bar above the grille, giving it a modern touch. The new front bumper is divided into two sections by a shiny black band. There aren’t many changes in the side profile of the Harrier. A major change can be seen in the use of new alloy wheels, 18 and 19 inches. The interior of the Tata Harrier has some major changes. The dashboard now has different materials, including a top panel with a texture, shiny black surfaces, and leather padding with contrast stitching. Based on the trim, there are two infotainment touch screen options- 10.25-inch and 12.3-inch. The center console also has a touch-based panel for HVAC control. Other features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a new four-spoke steering wheel with backlit Tata Motors logo, a new drive selector for the automatic variant, dual-zone climate control, a 10-speaker JBL-tuned sound system, rear window shades, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, and much more. In terms of safety features, it includes 7 airbags (six airbags across the range are standard), ABS, hill-hold control, three-point seat belts with reminders for all passengers.

Mechanically, the car remains unchanged with a 170hp, 350Nm, 2.0-liter diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The automatic gearbox is only available with the Adventure+ variant. The Tata Harrier now comes in four main trims- Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless, each with additional packages with ‘+’ or ’E’ suffixes for different features.
