The pivotal moment came when Chandak secured a seat in IIT Delhi, pursuing his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Even as opportunities knocked on his door, including a tempting salary package of Rs 35 lakh from a Japanese firm during his internship, Chandak’s vision was clear. Rather than settling into a lucrative job, he chose a path less taken – preparing for the Civil Services Examination.
The Civil Services Call:
By 2016, after completing his graduation, Chandak was fueled with a passion to serve the nation. He dedicated his time and energy to prepare for the Civil Services Examination. His hard work paid off in 2018 when he achieved an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 184 in the UPSC exam.
Service to the Nation:
Chandak’s journey in the Indian Police Service began with his posting as a Station House Officer at the Bazarpeth police station in Bhusaval. A testament to his dedication and efficiency, he has now been entrusted with the significant role of DCP in Nagpur Police.
