Situated on Gas Godown Road in Durga Vihar, Haldwani, the Tiwari residence has been abuzz with congratulatory messages since Preeti’s significant appointment. October saw her officially taking charge, a testament to her dedication and unwavering focus.
Educational Roots and Aspirations
Preeti’s journey to this prestigious position started from the halls of Haldwani Aryaman Vikram Birla School. With a thirst for knowledge, she further pursued her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Statistics from Rajasthan, completing her masters in 2017. Soon after, her vision was clear – to serve the nation by joining the civil services.
Turning Down the Corporate Lure
The world of private corporations beckoned Preeti with numerous job offers post her graduation. However, with a resolute heart and a clear mission, she veered towards preparing for the civil services. While her first attempt did not bring her the desired results, her persistence paid off in the Indian Statistical Service Examination of 2019. She emerged with flying colors, securing the impressive ninth rank at a national level.
Behind Preeti’s success stands the support of her family. Her father, Mohan Chandra Tiwari, once served at HMT before taking voluntary retirement, and her mother, Rajni Tiwari, has been the bedrock of the household, guiding Preeti with wisdom and care.
