Google has announced that it will be discontinuing the Pixel Pass Membership Service for new devices and users will not be able to renew their subscription.
The service previously allowed users to get a Pixel phone along with premium services like YouTube Premium, Google Play Pass, and YouTube Music Premium at a monthly charge.
Starting from 29th August 2023, the Pixel Pass subscription offer will no longer be available for purchase or renewal.
Google has stated that they evaluate the value of the offer based on customer feedback and provide various ways for customers to access Google’s best features.
New subscribers are no longer being offered the Pixel Pass subscription, while existing customers can continue their Pixel Pass membership for a period of two years from the date of subscription.
During this two-year period, customers cannot upgrade to a new phone with Pixel Pass.
At the end of this period, the full payment for the Pixel phone is made and the device’s preferred care service contract or Google Fi wireless device protection coverage is terminated.

At the end of the two-year period, the full payment for the Pixel phone is made, and services such as preferred care service contracts through the Google Store or device protection coverage through Google Fi wireless will expire.
And, Google has decided to discontinue the Pixel Pass Membership Service, which included premium services and a Pixel phone, on new devices and for subscription renewal. Existing customers can continue their membership for two years but will not be able to upgrade to a new phone during that time.
