Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 Unveiled: Price, Specifications, and Camera Details Revealed

Xiaomi has recently launched its foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, in China. The phone is priced at over 1 lakh rupees and will compete with other foldable phones in the market, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Google Pixel Fold. However, the Xiaomi phone is thinner when folded, with a thickness of 10.86mm compared to 13.4mm for Samsung and 12.1mm for Google.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is available in three variants – 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage. The prices start at CNY 8,999 (approximately 1,03,000 rupees) and go up to CNY 10,999 (approximately 1,26,600 rupees), making it more affordable than Samsung’s recent foldable phones.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 6.56-inch AMOLED outer display and an 8.25-inch main screen, both supporting Samsung’s E6 panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also comes with a quad-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 10-megapixel periscope lens. It has a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the cover screen.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and comes with a 4,800mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Other features include NFC, MIUI 14 based on Android 13, and 5G connectivity.
