It was during his graduation that Himanshu found his calling. The idea of appearing for the UPSC exam germinated in his mind, and he began to nurture this dream with dedication. Himanshu was known for his determination; once he set his mind on a goal, he pursued it with unwavering commitment. This trait was clearly evident in his approach to the UPSC examination.
Himanshu’s first attempt at the UPSC exam was a learning experience. He admits that his preparation was not comprehensive at that time, which resulted in his inability to clear the preliminary exam. However, this setback did not deter him. Instead, it served as a catalyst for more focused and strategic preparation.
In his second attempt, Himanshu’s approach was more methodical and well-planned. He recognized the areas where he needed improvement and worked diligently on them. His hard work paid off when he not only cleared the exam but also achieved an outstanding rank, fulfilling his dream of becoming an IAS officer.
