Reliance Jio has recently upended the Indian telecom market by offering an unprecedented recharge plan. This plan, priced attractively at just Rs 398, includes not only the standard telecom benefits but also a free subscription to 12 OTT (Over-The-Top) services.

Jio’s plan at Rs 398 offers unlimited calling across all networks. Additionally, subscribers get 2GB of data daily. The highlight of this plan is the inclusion of 12 OTT services, which is a first in the industry for a plan under Rs 400. Subscribers get access to a wide range of content spanning different genres and languages.
The free subscription includes popular platforms like SonyLIV, ZEE5, and JioCinema Premium. It also covers niche services like Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, and regional offerings such as Kanchha Lannka, Planet Marathi, and Chaupal. Additionally, subscribers get access to DocyBay, Epic. ON, and Hoichoi.
Jio Apps Access: Along with these OTT services all the subscribers also gain access to Jio’s own suite of apps, such as JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud, further enhancing the value of the plan.
This move by Jio has significantly increased competition in the telecom sector. Airtel, in response, has started offering benefits like free Netflix unlimited voice calling and unlimited 5G data with its prepaid plans.
