Honda XL750 Transalp has been launched in India at a price of INR 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This price is higher than the base variant of the Hyundai Creta. The XL750 Transalp is one of the most talked-about middleweight adventure motorcycles in recent months. It made its debut at EICMA in 2022. The company has now launched it in India, with only 100 units available for sale.
The Honda XL750 Transalp features a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel. It comes with 43 mm Showa USD suspension at the front, which makes it suitable for both everyday use and long rides. The motorcycle has dual-channel ABS and disc brakes on both ends.
One of the standout features of the XL750 Transalp is its 5-inch TFT dashboard. It provides information such as speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, fuel consumption, riding mode, and engine parameters. The display is customizable according to the rider’s preference and can be managed through the screen or the switchgear on the left handlebar.
Powering the Honda XL750 Transalp is a 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft. This engine generates 90bhp and 75Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine uses a Ni-SiC (nickel-silicon carbide) coating on the cylinder to enhance efficiency.
The bike offers five riding modes – Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User. These modes allow the rider to select their preferred combination of engine power, engine braking, ABS, assist slipper clutch, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).
And, the Honda XL750 Transalp has made its entry into the Indian market with its impressive features and powerful engine. However, with only 100 units available for sale, it is expected to be a limited edition offering for motorcycle enthusiasts in the country.
