Yamaha Aerox 155 scooter: Yamaha has recently unveiled its much-anticipated scooter, the Aerox 155, boasting impressive features and a dynamic appearance. This isn’t Yamaha’s first foray into launching MotoGP editions; they’ve previously released similar editions for models like the R15M, MT-15, and RAY ZR 125.
The Aerox 155 MotoGP edition doesn’t differ mechanically from its standard counterpart. However, it stands out with cosmetic and feature upgrades. A distinct feature of this edition is the special Monster Energy stickers, reminiscent of other Yamaha MotoGP edition models.
Among the head-turning features of the new Aerox 155 are all-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, multifunction key, automatic start and stop system, side-stand engine cut-off function, and a single-channel ABS. The scooter is designed for a comfortable ride with telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear springs. Its braking system includes a 230mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum.
Under the hood, the Aerox 155 is powered by a robust 155cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, Blue Core engine, equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). This powerhouse can generate 14.7 BHP at 8,000 RPM and 13.9 Nm torque at 6,500 RPM. Additionally, the scooter now supports OBD2 and is compatible with E20 fuel.
In terms of aesthetics, aside from the Monster Energy MotoGP edition, the Aerox 155 is available in four stunning color options: Metallic Black, Racing Blue, Grey Vermilion, and Silver. A unique addition is the Class D headlight, ensuring better illumination and visibility on the road.
As for the pricing, Yamaha has set the cost of the new Aerox 155 Monster Energy MotoGP edition at ₹1,48,300 (ex-showroom).
