Flying Car Features: The wait for a flying car is finally over as it is soon going to be launched in the market. The flying car will now be accessible to the general public as well. According to the latest update, this car will be available in the market next year and anyone can purchase it.
The flying car has been a popular concept in movies, and now it will become a reality for people. Although several companies have already launched flying cars, this one will be within the reach of the common man. The car is set to hit the market next year, and its price will be around 1.5 crore rupees. The American company, Pivotal Helix, has made the decision to introduce this car in 2024, which will cover a distance of approximately 300 kilometers on a single charge.
Delivery of the car is expected to begin in June 2024, according to the company. The electric car, designed with vertical take-off and landing (EVTOL) capabilities, has been created keeping in mind the regulations for micro-light aircraft. Made of carbon fiber, the car will be approximately 13 feet wide, 13 feet long, and 5 feet tall. It will weigh around 150 kilograms, with the battery being a significant component of the car. No pilot license is required to fly it.
It is worth mentioning that Chinese electronic expert company Xpeng Inc. built a flying car in 2022, which was launched in Dubai. The X2 electric vertical take-off and landing car can carry two passengers and is propelled by eight propellers. The car starts with just a push of a button, and passengers can take off and land without any major difficulties. The car does not emit carbon dioxide, and it is entirely made of fiber to reduce its weight.
In addition, another company named Alef Aeronomics has also developed a flying car. It was presented at the Detroit Auto Show in September 2023, showcasing its prototype model to the world. The legal approval for this car has already been obtained. The two-seater car is expected to cost around 2.46 crore rupees, and it can travel up to 200 miles. Its range will be 110 miles, and the driver will need to remain stable while flying.
And, the long-awaited flying car will soon be available for purchase. With companies like Pivotal Helix, Xpeng Inc., and Alef Aeronomics working on this innovative concept, the era of flying cars is gradually becoming a reality.
