Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, MY EV Store, has launched its new electric scooter, the IME Rapid, in the Indian market. The company claims that this electric scooter can provide a range of up to 300 kilometers per charge and has a top speed of 80 km/h. The price of the IME Rapid ranges from INR 99,000 to INR 1.48 lakh, depending on the variant.
According to MY EV Store, the higher range of the IME Rapid is made possible by the brand’s Smart Range Technology (SRT). This system intelligently analyzes real-time data, including weather conditions, battery status, traffic density, and driving patterns, to provide accurate range predictions.
The IME Rapid will initially be available in Bengaluru, with plans to expand sales throughout Karnataka. MY EV Store is also focusing on the franchise-owned, company-operated (FOCO) model for the launch in Bengaluru. The company aims to expand its outlets to 15 to 20 cities in Karnataka soon.
The IME Rapid is offered in three variants, with range options of 100, 200, and 300 kilometers on a single charge. It is equipped with a 2000 W motor and a 60V – 26/52/72 AH battery pack. The scooter can reach a top speed of 80 km/h.
MY EV Store will provide warranty and spare parts availability for all its vehicles, along with hassle-free servicing across Bengaluru. The company has partnered with leading financial institutions, including Kotak Mahindra, Shriram Finance, and Manappuram Finance, to offer attractive and easy finance schemes. The IME Rapid will compete with the Simple One electric scooter, which offers a range of up to 212 km per charge.
