The company has now confirmed that it will also be launching the phone in India. Realme shared an image of the phone on its Twitter account with the caption “Champion is coming” and a mini capsule is visible on the phone. Although the launch date and specifications of the phone are not yet known, it has already been launched in the global market.
The Realme C51 features a design similar to Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro, with a polycarbonate build and a dual-texture back. The smartphone sports a 6.7-inch waterdrop notch display with HD+ resolution. It comes with a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50MP primary camera and a 0.3MP depth sensor. There is a 5MP front camera as well. The phone is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T612 octa-core SoC and comes with a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It is available in two variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage.
In terms of price, the Realme C51 was launched in Taiwan for approximately Rs. 10,400. It is expected to be priced in the same bracket in India. Realme recently launched the Realme C55 smartphone in India with a price of Rs. 10,999.
In other news, Reliance Jio is set to hold its AGM meeting on August 28. The company is expected to reveal the prices of Jio Phone and Air Fibre during the meeting. It may also launch new prepaid 5G plans. Jio has already rolled out its 5G network in more than 7500 cities in India. It is speculated that the company will announce its new 5G plans on the same day.
